A brief biography of Clint Eastwood film legend

World-renowned actor and director Clint Eastwood was born on May 31, 1930 in San Francisco, California. Acting in the direction of feature films and more than five decades, Eastwood still working in the industry today. He is considered one of the greatest American actors always and without a doubt one of the biggest stars of the Western genre.

Eastwood family was hit hard by the Great Depression. With an older brother, his sister Jean, Clint had a relatively small family, and this worked for the family, who moved from San Francisco to Oakland, California in late 1930. Clint attended and graduated from Oakland Technical High School in 1948.

Like many of the world's most famous actors, Clint had no desire to act. In fact, it was the furthest thing from his mind as he worked a series of odd jobs. Eastwood tried his hands, as a registrar, a big rig driver, an iron worker in ovens, and even as a guarantor of hay. He continued to do odd jobs for almost three years until he was called into service in 1950.

During his time with the Army Special Services, Eastwood met two aspiring actors and work, like Martin Milner and David Janssen. Clint became friends with men and that convinced him that acting was his true calling. Upon leaving the military in 1954, Eastwood signed with Universal Pictures, after a successful screen test.

It was released in the western part immediately. Clint's first films were science fiction films: Tarantula and Revenge of the creature, both in 1955. His days gunman was not released until four years later, when the actor looks robust landing a supporting role in the television series Rawhide.

After running rawhide was over, Clint went to Italy in 1964 to work with a director named Sergio Leone obscure. The role was a challenge proposed by Eastwood. The character did not even have a name, technically, which was solitary excellence. However, Eastwood took very good character and the "spaghetti westerns" took off.

These three films, A Fistful of Dollars, For a few dollars more and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Eastwood become an international superstar. Eastwood returned to the U.S. in 1971 to direct his first film, Play Misty for Me, which also played the lead role.

Clint next great company was to act as detective Harry Callahan in a strident role built for the actor. The Dirty Harry movies were incredibly popular, and Clint crashes in five separate films over nearly two decades.

After this great success as an actor, Clint turned over to management. Although occasionally crashes on an image, such as Unforgiven, Space Cowboys, Eastwood was comfortable behind the camera, where he reached the last word.

He led huge pictures like Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, True Crime, Million Dollar Baby, Mystic River and A Perfect World. Eastwood directed and starred recently in the success of Gran Torino 2008 and Invictus (directed only), and have another image of the form titled Beyond.
